How a Yale Founder, a Music Executive, an AI Researcher, and a Creator Are Rewiring How Companies market themselves

By Staff Writer, New York, November 2025

Every once in a while, a startup forms a team that feels unusually aligned. People from different industries who somehow share the same instinct for the future. That is what is happening at Cliqk, the new AI go-to-market platform that automates how brands, creators, and founders launch across the internet.

Some can even call this the “Cursor for marketing. Cliqk is a one-click marketing platform that launches your brand everywhere at once: billboards, social ads, UGC, events, newsletters, and press runs.”

The company was founded in New York three months ago and has quickly become a rising force among founders, creators, and consumer brands. But the real story is not only the product. It is the people building it.

At the center is CEO Rohan Gurram, a two-time Yale graduate known for his work in systems thinking and community-scale growth models. Earlier this year, Gurram publicly spoke about the challenges he faced as an Indian founder, a moment that resonated widely across social platforms.

“If we do not define our narrative, someone else will,” he wrote. “Cliqk exists because distribution should not be controlled by gatekeepers. Everyone deserves the ability to launch.”

Rohan’s previous ventures focused on creating infrastructure for coordinated community action. That same framework now powers Cliqk’s core function: automated, cultural go-to-market execution.

Supporting that vision is Gary “Bolo” Sargeant, Cliqk’s COO, who brings more than two decades of experience in the music industry. He has worked on teams behind Beyoncé, J. Cole, Young Thug, Gunna, and Megan Thee Stallion, specializing in turning emerging cultural signals into mainstream acceleration.

“Momentum used to be shaped by radio,” Bolo says. “Now momentum comes from social ecosystems. Creators and brands are where culture begins. Cliqk is building the launch system that aligns with that reality.”

If Gurram shapes the playbook and Bolo anchors the cultural signal, CTO Alvin Pan builds the intelligence behind it. Before Cliqk, Pan was a machine learning researcher at NYU Langone and Columbia, where he developed autonomous neurosurgical AI systems using reinforcement learning and multi-modal video understanding.

He later worked on distributed LLM and RAG pipelines at TransSiP and Faction Imaging. Now, that deep technical experience is being directed at one goal: teaching AI to understand how ideas spread.

“AI should not replace creativity,” Pan says. “It should understand cultural context so creative work can travel further.”

Completing the founding team is Ilias Anwar, Chief Marketing Officer. Anwar built TCC Entertainment from a dorm room project into a media and events ecosystem that generated more than one billion impressions across campaigns, concerts, and digital storytelling. He also co-founded Tapped AI, a live venue analytics platform.

His projects, including Creator Week and Ilias Events, brought together thousands of founders, creators, and investors. Those ecosystems became part of Cliqk earlier this year, creating a distribution network that now fuels the platform’s GTM engine.

“An audience is not just followers,” Gurram says. “An audience is an economy. Ilias built one. Now it is connected to Cliqk.”

Behind the founders is a growing engineering and operations team defined by global perspective, endurance, and ambition:

  • Jordan Ordonez: Engineer focused on building systems that create meaningful social impact.
  • Charles Legard: Event operator and production lead who bridges digital and physical launch environments.
  • Marvin Neil Ford: Sales and operations strategist driving enterprise expansion.
  • Vijay Alagar: Award-winning designer shaping Cliqk’s visual systems.
  • Hriday Narang: 17-year-old product engineer translating abstract problems into structured systems.
  • Lakesh Bansal: Senior backend and distributed systems engineer.
  • Pavan Kumar: Growth strategist focused on data-backed GTM execution.
  • Gary Ordonez: Marketing strategist bridging entertainment and emerging tech audiences.

The company also works with Margaret “Digit” Murphy, CEO of UWS NIL Agency and a Cornell Hall of Fame athlete. Her experience in building empowerment models within women’s sports strengthens Cliqk’s mission to expand cultural access and autonomy.

Investors often speak about founder-market fit. Cliqk represents something broader: team-market fit. It is a convergence of academic rigor, cultural fluency, distribution expertise, and engineered systems thinking at the precise moment the internet is shifting toward AI-coordinated launch strategy.

Cliqk is not just building an AI tool. It is building the infrastructure for cultural scalability, where brands and creators can launch across multiple channels automatically, without requiring dozens of agencies, managers, or fragmented partners.

“Most startups chase trends,” Anwar says. “We are building the system that decides what trends become inevitable.”

For investors analyzing the future of marketing and cultural movement, Cliqk is more than a company. It is a signal of where go-to-market is heading.
