This year, their theme has been decided to be the models of various animals which are considered sacred to Goddess Durga. A giant model of an elephant has been made on top of the pandal and all the other animals have been placed around it as decoration.
The idol of the Goddess, or Durga Pratima has been made immensely beautiful and dressed in red and white saree. The jewelry of the idol made from white stone looks absolutely stunning. This Puja Pandal has been famous amongst devotees every year and this year too, it is bound to spark some joy.
4. Jagat Mukherjee Park Durga Puja
The Jagat Mukherjee Park of Sovabazar is bound to get the crowds going with their amazingly innovative theme of a live submarine. In this theme, the Puja Pandal has been decorated in the blue and white theme of being underwater. It features boats, submarines, and even an underwater themed idol of the Goddess. 5. College Square Durga Puja

The Puja Pandal has been decorated with a fantastic display of blue lightening and the idol of the Goddess is kept inside this lightening. The College Square Durga Puja began back in 1948, right after the independence of our nation. Since then, this Puja Pandal has been illuminating the puja area with their beautiful light and traditional celebrations. 6. Dum Dum Park Yubak Brinda

This year, the Dum Dum Park Yubak Brinda will celebrate its 51st anniversary. The committee that organizes this puja has created a village for the Santhals and all the artwork on the Puja Pandal has been done by them. They have turned the theme of the puja to that of music and the celebration of this breathtaking artform which is involved in every puja.
